Author: Matt Larson

With my first book, 4000s by 40, released this fall, I am fulfilling a lifelong dream of writing, and am excited to continue the journey of storytelling with future projects—so much so that the day after I published 4000s by 40, I began my next work. Much of my inspiration comes from nature. My early love for the ocean, found on the South Shore of Massachusetts, has transitioned into a deep passion for the mountains here in New Hampshire, and I wanted to share that with my first book. If you’d like to connect or have any inquiries, you can reach out to me at [email protected]. I’m also on Instagram and Facebook at wanderingmatt8. Happy reading!

No, forest bathing is much more…

I’ve benefited a lot from the incredible trail work of so many others over the years. Their efforts have enabled me to climb heaps of mountains, go camping in some beautiful locations unreachable by car, and visit many a river, pond, brook, and valley, all of which have brought me peace and joy beyond compare….

Sock Murderers

Posted on September 30, 2025September 27, 2025

Legend has it that Tom Brady once told a teammate that if he ever made it in the NFL, all he would want is a fresh pair of socks every day. I can’t say I have much in common with him, but Tom’s got me on the sock thing. Boy, do I love a good…
