There are moments—on the trail, in the quiet of morning, or during some turning point in life—when a few lines can express something a whole book can’t. This space is for those moments. Each poem here is an attempt to capture what I was feeling, seeing, or trying to understand at the time. Some are inspired by nature, some by family or the people I meet, and others by stirrings on the outskirts of conscious thought.

Poetry Plans
Poetry has always been a favorite of mine. From the first time I tried writing one, I have found the exercise of crafting a poem to be very rewarding. It paints a picture in my mind of a moment that’s hard to capture through any other medium. Over time, I’m looking forward to publishing several collections—mostly inspired by nature and the beautiful world we get to enjoy.
