Author: Matt Larson

With my first book, 4000s by 40, released this fall, I am fulfilling a lifelong dream of writing, and am excited to continue the journey of storytelling with future projects—so much so that the day after I published 4000s by 40, I began my next work. Much of my inspiration comes from nature. My early love for the ocean, found on the South Shore of Massachusetts, has transitioned into a deep passion for the mountains here in New Hampshire, and I wanted to share that with my first book. If you’d like to connect or have any inquiries, you can reach out to me at [email protected]. I’m also on Instagram and Facebook at wanderingmatt8. Happy reading!

Inspiration Is All Around Us: Takeaways From the Pan-Mass Challenge

Rediscovering the Cape

Posted on August 1, 2025August 1, 2025

I’ve been away a long time. Even though I got married down here, there’s always been a lot I haven’t liked about the Cape. Mainly, the traffic. But I’ve also never been much of a beach guy. Until maybe… now? Friends of ours rent a house down here every year, and we had the good…

It Could Have Happened

Posted on July 29, 2025July 30, 2025

It could have happened in the Mexican bay, tethered to a rope not likely to stay, dropping with the day’s latest news stuffed in your ankle for support. It could have happened in To-hell-u-ride, when you nearly hit that chair on the rise, hurling yourself on a mission everyone knew you should abort. It could…
