Author: Matt Larson

With my first book, 4000s by 40, released this fall, I am fulfilling a lifelong dream of writing, and am excited to continue the journey of storytelling with future projects—so much so that the day after I published 4000s by 40, I began my next work. Much of my inspiration comes from nature. My early love for the ocean, found on the South Shore of Massachusetts, has transitioned into a deep passion for the mountains here in New Hampshire, and I wanted to share that with my first book. If you’d like to connect or have any inquiries, you can reach out to me at [email protected]. I’m also on Instagram and Facebook at wanderingmatt8. Happy reading!

Impossible to exercise — even walk — without spasms running up my back. And…

Weekend Notes From the Greatest 3B Coach of All Time

Posted on May 25, 2021July 26, 2025

Last weekend our little band of miscreants checked their egos at home and came to the diamond with a positive mindset. Our message of supporting each other and remaining upbeat no matter what, looks like it finally took hold. Even though half the team forgets how to play baseball every other inning, just staying positive…

Ditching the Devices This Summer Before It’s Too Late

Posted on May 24, 2021October 20, 2025

Stating the obvious, but things feel a little different these days, don’t they? Different than the 80s. Different than the 90s. I remember I used to think the 90s were so boring, wishing they had a little more personality. Now I would sacrifice a finger or two to get to raise my kids in the…
