Author: Matt Larson

With my first book, 4000s by 40, released this fall, I am fulfilling a lifelong dream of writing, and am excited to continue the journey of storytelling with future projects—so much so that the day after I published 4000s by 40, I began my next work. Much of my inspiration comes from nature. My early love for the ocean, found on the South Shore of Massachusetts, has transitioned into a deep passion for the mountains here in New Hampshire, and I wanted to share that with my first book. If you’d like to connect or have any inquiries, you can reach out to me at [email protected]. I’m also on Instagram and Facebook at wanderingmatt8. Happy reading!

Coach Larson Says “Bench Them All!”

I’m a Suburban Farmer of Nothing

Posted on May 13, 2021October 20, 2025

Today I took the day off from work to tend to the house. Between the kids’ sports and a host of other activities, there’s simply no time on the weekend for us to get to everything that needs to get done. Work was pretty quiet this week, so today seemed like the right day to…

Hoping for a Little Chalkboard Inspiration During Covid

Posted on May 8, 2021October 20, 2025

In the thick of covid, with my wife having gone back to work full-time, I found myself suddenly thrust into the position of “mom” on the home front. Only the home front was the front lines, and this little lamb didn’t know what the heck he was doing. I just knew I was probably doing…
