Author: Matt Larson

With my first book, 4000s by 40, released this fall, I am fulfilling a lifelong dream of writing, and am excited to continue the journey of storytelling with future projects—so much so that the day after I published 4000s by 40, I began my next work. Much of my inspiration comes from nature. My early love for the ocean, found on the South Shore of Massachusetts, has transitioned into a deep passion for the mountains here in New Hampshire, and I wanted to share that with my first book. If you’d like to connect or have any inquiries, you can reach out to me at [email protected]. I’m also on Instagram and Facebook at wanderingmatt8. Happy reading!

Fight for the Smiles, Life Is Happening Now

Where Are All the Happy Writers?

Posted on May 3, 2021October 24, 2025

As I reenter the writing fray, I’ve been checking out Medium a lot lately, which if you’re not familiar with, is an app where a lot of writers can post their content for the world to see. It reads like the most refined blogging hub on the web, though it’s supposed to feel more sophisticated…

Where Can a Dad Get Some Steroids?

Posted on April 30, 2021April 30, 2021

Okay, enough already. Can’t someone just blast me with a bunch of steroids to make this pain go away? I can tell there’s just this last bit of muscular tissue that won’t swell up and get strong enough to hold all the nerves in place – why can’t we just get a big old needle…
