Author: Matt Larson

With my first book, 4000s by 40, released this fall, I am fulfilling a lifelong dream of writing, and am excited to continue the journey of storytelling with future projects—so much so that the day after I published 4000s by 40, I began my next work. Much of my inspiration comes from nature. My early love for the ocean, found on the South Shore of Massachusetts, has transitioned into a deep passion for the mountains here in New Hampshire, and I wanted to share that with my first book. If you’d like to connect or have any inquiries, you can reach out to me at [email protected]. I’m also on Instagram and Facebook at wanderingmatt8. Happy reading!

Several of them even made the pain much, much worse. I’m looking at…

The Greatest 3B Coach of All Time

Posted on April 27, 2021July 26, 2025

This spring I have the great privilege, perhaps for the last time, to help coach my son’s baseball team. But unlike other years, this time I will not bear the responsibility of being called the head coach; I’ve been the head coach before and it’s a commitment I no longer want to make. So I’ve…

Reclaiming the Old You or Building the New You?

Posted on April 26, 2021January 7, 2026

Life can really throw some curveballs at you, can’t it? One minute you’re standing on a mountaintop and then the next, you’re cast down a deep, dark hole somewhere, wondering if you’ll ever see the light of day again. The speed with which this can happen is what makes a return to your former self…
