Author: Matt Larson

With my first book, 4000s by 40, released this fall, I am fulfilling a lifelong dream of writing, and am excited to continue the journey of storytelling with future projects—so much so that the day after I published 4000s by 40, I began my next work. Much of my inspiration comes from nature. My early love for the ocean, found on the South Shore of Massachusetts, has transitioned into a deep passion for the mountains here in New Hampshire, and I wanted to share that with my first book. If you’d like to connect or have any inquiries, you can reach out to me at [email protected]. I’m also on Instagram and Facebook at wanderingmatt8. Happy reading!

All-consuming pain makes everything else feel…

But…

Can Someone Please Explain Bitcoin to Me Like I’m Five?

Posted on April 16, 2021October 20, 2025

A few years ago, I thought I was fairly intelligent. Or at least smart enough to get 7 out of 61 questions right on Jeopardy! But now I’m not so sure. Have you ever looked into Bitcoin? Trying to understand Bitcoin feels like trying to help the kids with their math homework when Common Core…

Help! I’m Living With Criminals

Posted on April 14, 2021October 20, 2025

Help! If you’re reading this, please send help. I’m trapped. I’ve locked myself in the master bathroom, but that’s not the problem. The problem is lurking just outside the bathroom door, waiting for me to come out so that they can terrorize me some more. Armed with a relentlessness that would have made Al Capone…
