Author: Matt Larson

With my first book, 4000s by 40, released this fall, I am fulfilling a lifelong dream of writing, and am excited to continue the journey of storytelling with future projects—so much so that the day after I published 4000s by 40, I began my next work. Much of my inspiration comes from nature. My early love for the ocean, found on the South Shore of Massachusetts, has transitioned into a deep passion for the mountains here in New Hampshire, and I wanted to share that with my first book. If you’d like to connect or have any inquiries, you can reach out to me at [email protected]. I’m also on Instagram and Facebook at wanderingmatt8. Happy reading!

Aren’t we scared that our kids are getting dumber relative to the world, and even more so now that they’ve lost so much…

Kids, Get Down Here and Watch TV – NOW!

When I was a kid, the most exciting night of the school week was when my dad told me to come downstairs and watch The Wonder Years with him. I’ll never forget it. I still remember that it aired on Wednesdays and even if I had a big homework assignment due the next day, it…

Not Enough Time to Cover It All

Posted on November 19, 2021October 20, 2025

When the writing bug strikes there are these moments where your ability to write can’t keep up with the entirety of your thoughts, and you end up losing some of the complexities you were hoping to deliver. Your hands might catch up with two or maybe even ten of your ideas, but now and again…
