Author: Matt Larson

With my first book, 4000s by 40, released this fall, I am fulfilling a lifelong dream of writing, and am excited to continue the journey of storytelling with future projects—so much so that the day after I published 4000s by 40, I began my next work. Much of my inspiration comes from nature. My early love for the ocean, found on the South Shore of Massachusetts, has transitioned into a deep passion for the mountains here in New Hampshire, and I wanted to share that with my first book. If you’d like to connect or have any inquiries, you can reach out to me at [email protected]. I’m also on Instagram and Facebook at wanderingmatt8. Happy reading!

When the Pain is Finally Gone

Posted on April 7, 2021October 7, 2025

Sympathy for the Easter Bunny

Posted on April 5, 2021September 6, 2025

For as long as I can remember, I’ve always had a problem with the Easter Bunny. When I was five and finally entering an age of semi-consciousness, I recall asking my parents why this magical basket was presented to me on Easter morning. Listening to their explanation that a bunny snuck into the house in…

What the Hell Just Happened?

Posted on April 3, 2021October 20, 2025

What the hell just happened? A year ago I was master of my own destiny; a self-employed father of the year, dropping pearls of wisdom on the kids before I went off to work. I was gunning for husband of the year too,  encouraging my wife to pursue her dreams and go back to work…
