We can’t always be climbing and writing books. There’s work, and there’s raising a family, and a million other interactions and events that make life so full. Some of these moments I like to share, whether it’s for a little levity on something we all go through, or for the hope of sparking a dialogue about the way things are going “out there.” This page is about just dealing with regular life, and usually, finding something amusing about it.

Other Posts on This Site
After a while of posting on this site, I realized that I was interested in more than one category and couldn’t just post about one topic. Most experts will recommend not doing this if you want people to actually read your blog. Apparently, the “best blogs” are the ones that develop a niche and report on that one topic, or things adjacent to that topic, and do it over and over again. But I’ve never been good with staying in one lane. I have a hard time believing any of us naturally are.
So, on this site you’ll also find stories about the mountains, the writing process, poetry, health, and getting out in nature in general. My hope with all of these different lanes is to spark some dialogue and foster the development of a healthy mindset, regardless of what people are exploring. Hope you like what you find.
